We are looking for a motivated and dedicated professional who is seeking to broaden their horizons and take on a new set of challenges. This candidate will be working in our Salt Lake City, Utah location.

This position is responsible for evaluating small molecules being investigated as new anticancer agents. Only highly motivated and results oriented candidates will be considered. The candidate must be willing to develop a broad range of experience in a lab setting.


Duties:

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• The primary responsibility for this position will be to conduct experiments at the laboratory bench.
• Conducting biological assays including, but not limited to, enzyme assays, cell-based assays, high-content analysis and reporter-based screens, in vivo testing, real-time PCR, western blot, protein-binding assays and other molecular and cellular biology techniques.
• Conduct biological assays in an independent manner.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
• B.S. with 0-2 years experience in pharmaceutical lab for Assistant position or M.S. with 1-2 years experience in pharmaceutical lab for Associate position.
• Basic knowledge of GLP (Good Lab Practices).
• Basic knowledge of lab equipment.
• Adept at handling multiple priorities with aggressive timelines.
• Keep abreast of latest technology and findings related to therapeutic targets through reading scientific literature and attending scientific conferences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
