Silicon Slopes is an online community where those associated with Utah-based technology and life science companies (numbering 5,200, and growing) can come together for information and other resources. The goals of Silicon Slopes are simple:

• Increase awareness for the great things going on in Utah
• Recruit talent to come or remain here
• Increase investments in our technologies and companies

SiliconSlopes.com accomplishes these goals by providing a place where those involved can go for information while also promoting our collective interests on a local, national and even worldwide level.

Utah Technology and Life Science Companies

SiliconSlopes.com was created to help introduce Utah’s high-tech and life science businesses to each other and to those outside the region, and encourage collaboration and support among this group. This community site has been completely reworked with dedicated resources and now includes the following:

• Detailed Company Profiles
  Search an ever-growing database of detailed company information for many of the estimated 5,200 tech-based companies in Utah. Search based on revenues, employees, funding amounts and other data!
  Companies can add themselves to our company database by creating a company profile, or simply edit their existing listing.

  Adding A Company
  Companies that are not currently in our database can submit their profile for approval. We only list companies affiliated with high technology and life science industries. Users can also submit a logo, but to maintain the look and feel of the site please submit logos smaller than the restricted size (100 x 38) Companies are normally approved within 24 hours of submission.

  Editing A Company
  If information within a company profile is erroneous or outdated company representatives can keep their information current by selecting the edit tab within a company’s profile (located in the top right corner). All edits will be reviewed and approved by the administrator of the site, usually with in 24 hours.

  Find the latest-and-greatest industry tidbits on IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, venture funding and up-and-coming Utah companies. Take advantage of free PR by publishing your own news stories or press releases. News content can be submitted in simple text form or html.

  SiliconSlopes.com maintains a list of all who have invested or who are interested in investing in high-tech in Utah. Investors can be added to this list or edit the current information found on the list by contacting Silicon Slopes.

  Investors also have the ability to dynamically post deal flow by filling out a simple online form. Our goal was to make this process as painless and straight forward as possible. This is accomplished by asking only basic questions about the deal and then sinking this information with our existing company database. If participating companies are not found in our current database, give us the basic information and we will do the leg work for you.
