Utah Wins the Gold at Third Annual GovMarks Awards

Unisys, General Dynamics Information Technology, and BearingPoint Win GovMarks

ALEXANDRIA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GovMark Council, a not-for-profit forum that facilitates education and networking for senior-level marketing executives who serve the government Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) market, today announced the winners of the Third Annual GovMarks Awards. In its third year, the awards honor the best government IT marketing programs for 2007.

GovMark Council presented five awards, three of which recognize programs focused on reaching Department of Defense, Federal civilian agency, and state and local government IT decision markers. In addition, GovMark Council recognized the Best Overall Marketing Program as well as the winner for best creative excellence. A panel of nine independent judges from within the government IT&T market ranked the nominations.

Best Overall Marketing Program

  • Utah State Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing Online State Construction Registry

Department of Defense Marketing Program

  • General Dynamics Information Technology IT Branding Campaign

Federal Civilian Marketing Program

  • Winner: Unisys Security Unleashed Campaign
  • Honorable Mention: Primavera Systems, Inc. America, Inc. Campaign

State & Local Marketing Program

  • Winner: Utah State Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing Online State Construction Registry
  • Honorable Mention: CDW Government, Inc. Public Safety Campaign

Best Design

  • BearingPoint Wrap the Beltway Campaign
