With 5,500 acres of skiable terrain, Powder Mountain is one of North America’s largest ski areas. This is the place if you want to make first tracks. Even on the busiest day, you may only find 1 skier per 2 acres.

Powder Mountain relies solely on Mother Nature for snow and she generously delivers 500 inches annually. We believe natural snow is best and the readers of SKI agree. They consistently rate us high for snow and value.

About half of Powder Mountain is a traditional lift served resort with an abundance of beautifully groomed cruisers. The rest of the resort is left untouched for powder hounds. Take your pick of the 1,200 acres served by Powder Country shuttle, 700 acres accessed by a short ride on Lightning Ridge snowcat or the 1,000 acres reserved for the Snowcat Powder Safari.
