Jeff co-founded Peak Capital Partners, a $6B+ real estate investment firm located in Provo, UT, and Peak Ventures, one of Utah’s premier institutional early-stage VC firms. He now invests via Element Ventures, his family office. He is one of Utah’s most active early-stage venture investors, having written over 200 venture checks during the last decade. Jeff got his start as an entrepreneur, building a tech startup, which he later sold to a NASDAQ-listed company. Today, he sits on the boards of many of the companies he is invested in and serves as a mentor for some of Utah’s brightest entrepreneurs. Consistent with his entrepreneurial nature, Jeff continues expanding the scope and variety of his pursuits, including running for Governor in Utah’s 2020 gubernatorial race, hosting a podcast, championing various philanthropic initiatives, teaching a class on entrepreneurship to thousands of college students, and authoring a forthcoming book on humanity and AI.
