Shawn Beus has 10 years’ experience working in all aspects of economic development throughout Utah in Davis County, Salt Lake City, and Ogden. Previously he was a non-profit housing developer, an attorney, Hooper City planning commission and City Council; and presently on the Farmington Planning Commission, and the boards of Safe Harbor (for victims of domestic violence), Local First Utah, and Centerpoint Theatre. He earned associate's degrees at Weber State and Salt Lake Community College, bachelors from BYU in Management, and a juris doctor (JD) from the University Of Utah College Of Law, and is working on a Master in HR from Colorado State University. Having lived in the Canary Islands of Spain, Shawn speaks Spanish as a second language. In his free time, Shawn enjoys traveling with his wife and daughters, hiking, biking, running, and collecting hats.
